Life is full of small hurts and big regrets, and the way we handle them shades our perception of all that follows. The mind may understand "let it go," but the heart needs to have the hurts recognized before it can truly let go.

And Some Things Are Virtually Impossible to Ever Let Go
The Reason for This Blog--- MOURN, RELEASE, AND GROW!
Some say the best way to handle small hurts and deep regrets is to accept them and let them go. Rightly so. Except our hearts don't always listen to our heads. It's often hard to let something go because we feel the need to express our disappointment or anger and have it understood by fellow humans. . . and that is the reason I am starting this blog as a place to anonymously (or not) release your hurts and regrets, know that someone understands, and then grow forward from the situation. Letting go allows us to move forward with our lives, to grow again. It doesn't mean we have to forgive or forget or any of those phrases, it just means we allow ourselves to no longer be worried by the particular hurts or regrets that have already consumed too much time in our lives.
